Not only will you be vacationing in a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath near-ocean villa with a fully equipped kitchen and living room, but you will have access to the most incredible choices of amenities, which include the amenities of The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.  So your biggest task this vacation may be to decide on where to relax, where to sunbathe and swim, whether to play golf paying only a cart fee, play tennis (free), to dine in or dine out, including poolside or ocean side, or renew your commitment to wellness utilizing the health club or spa.


    The Ocean Palms Villas are located in Port Royal Plantation area. This enclave of villas is nestled within a park-like tropical garden setting. The distinctive low country style of architecture coupled with the linen white exteriors projects a bright warm welcome to all. Situated along a picturesque lagoon or overlooking a pool the ambiance created is one of a restive intimate enclave or village. Offered for your vacationing enjoyment are two pools. One pool offers a children's pool and the other pool offers a whirlpool/hot tub.


    The two bedroom, two bath luxury villa offers a large living area or great room with a 9 foot high ceiling consisting of a living area beautifully decorated offering a sleeper sofa, chairs, entertainment center armoire with TV, DVD and AM/FM stereo. Adjacent to the living area is the dining area with seating for six. The complete kitchen is part of the great room and here you will find all the conveniences of home along with well-stocked cupboards for creating your finest or easiest dishes. One of the more unique attributes of Ocean Palms is the ability to offer each reservation a sleeping or bedding plan customized to your specific needs. Most bedrooms offer a "swing king." That means the swing king bed can be set up as a king bed or pulled apart and set up as two separate twin beds. Therefore you will be asked if you want kings or twins in the bedrooms with a swing king. Two couples may want both beds as kings while four golfers might request four twin beds (should the villa offer 2 swing kings) while mom and dad want the master to have a king bed and the second bedroom to be set up with two twin beds. With the sleeper sofa in the living area your villa's capacity is six with your preference for bedding! Each villa has multiple TV's, and private bath and the master bath offers a whirlpool tub. Also important to note is that each villa offers wireless internet and a washer and dryer. Of additional importance is that some of the villas are available Sunday to Sunday along with the traditional Saturday to Saturday option.


    If you are not a golfer, skip this paragraph. If you are a golfer, get ready to get really excited. Staying in an Ocean Palms Villa allows you to play golf daily at one of the courses available at either the Port Royal Golf Club featuring three 18-hole courses, The Barony, Planters Row or Robbers Row. Or, you may elect to play 18 holes on any of the three 9 hole courses in the Shipyard Plantation featuring the Clipper, Galleon and Brigantine Courses. Play is subject to availability of courses. Cost to play is $37 cart fee per person in the morning or $33 per person in the afternoon. (Note: Cart fee prices are subject to changes.) The Ocean Palms registered guest is provided one tee time per day for up to four golfers. Depending upon the time of the year and course price at the time, this could result in a savings of hundreds of dollars a day for four players! The registered guest may only book tee times 24 hours in advance.


    If golf is not your game, what about tennis?  Right across the lane from the Ocean Palms Resort is the Port Royal Racquet Club ranked one of the "Top 50 greatest US tennis resorts" by Tennis Magazine. The club features 10 har-tru and 4 hard courts. Your stay at Ocean Palms entitles you to one hour of free tennis per day.


    More exciting news! As mentioned, because Ocean Palms is maintained by The Westin Hotels & Resorts, all the wonderful amenities of The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, an oceanfront resort, are available to you. Therefore you may choose to swim and relax around the two outdoor pools and a whirlpool/hot tub or use the heated covered pool. Next to the covered pool you have access to the fitness center, featuring state of the art equipment (Life Fitness, Precor) to continue your commitment to good health. Of special interest to many, on site is the Heavenly Spa by The Westin offering wonderful treatments at varying prices that will rejuvenate body, mind and spirit. Also, during the summer, you may enroll your child at the Kids Club for a fee. The hotel also offers a clothing boutique and a gifts and sundries shop.


    Should you want to take a break from the kitchen at your Ocean Palms villa, consider the three dining options at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.
