A glorious retreat in a vacation paradise awaits you with this exciting 4 Bedroom/ 4 Bath home in Sea Pines which directly overlooks the 13th Tee of the world famous Harbourtown Golf Links. The very private and scenic backyard offers a beautiful, sunny pool * & spa * framed by oaks and pine trees. Beyond the pool* is a picturesque view of the 13th tee and the start of the fairway. Equally impressive is the front of this awesome home offering a private , tropical walled-in brick courtyard. This courtyard offers a beautiful fountain, palms, plantings and elegant, decorative wrought iron gates that beckon you to enter your vacation getaway retreat.
Upon entering the two story foyer with skylight, you step onto a travertine stone floor which takes you, enchanted into the stunning living room. You're immediately drawn into the gorgeous living room, for the view is spectacular. Four large, virtually floor to ceiling windows provide an incredible view of the pool*, spa* and fairway. Once inside the living area, following the excitement of the view, you'll find a cathedral ceiling enhancing the luxurious feel created by a marble fireplace, stunning armoire and beautiful furnishings. Off the living room may be the next most popular room, a Media room. Here you'll find a 56" large screen TV and ample seating via various sectional pieces providing comfortable theater viewing.
The large, bright country kitchen has a center island / breakfast bar with three cushioned wrought iron bar stools. The kitchen is designed with country finished cabinets, black appliances, silestone countertops and complimentary colored floor tiles. A spacious wood and wrought iron kitchen table with six chairs surrounded on three sides with views of the courtyard with fountain, will make this a favorite gathering place. For more formal dining there is a separate dining room with circular glass top table and six high back, cushioned, tapestry chairs with a view of the private courtyard.
The first floor bedrooms consist of a bedroom located off of the living room offering a King bed, private bath with a step down tub and shower and a startling view of the statue made famous by the book "In the Garden of Good and Evil". The second bedroom could be called the "dorm room" for this is the room the kids will claim as theirs. There are two sets of bunk beds. Each has a double bed at the lower level and a twin bed at the upper level, so in total six children can sleep here. The bedroom is decorated in a cute nautical style and features white wicker furniture, a TV, VCR and Nintendo. Also, to the kids delight, is a big blue alligator rug ready to welcome all. The private bath has a tub and flexible shower head.
Upstairs, there is a large landing that offers a desk with wireless internet and a rattan lounge chair. Off this landing are the separate entrances to two more bedrooms. The first offers a King sleigh bed and beautiful matching furniture including an armoire with TV, VCR and stereo. There is a small private balcony that overlooks the scenic pool* and spa* area and fairway. The large private bath has an oversized jacuzzi tub, separate shower and dressing table area. The fourth bedroom also offers a King bed, matching furniture and armoire with TV and DVD player. This room also has a small private balcony and separate window overlooking the pool* and spa*. The private bath offers a shower.
*Pool & Spa may be heated upon request for an additional charge with two weeks advance notice.
