This 2BR/2 BA villa with an extra loft room is in a private quiet villa community called Turnberry Village that is located in Palmetto Dunes Plantation. The villa is full of large windows that start from the floor level and rise up and give way to splendid views of the golf course as well as palmetto palm trees, Spanish moss draped southern oaks and pines and South Carolina flowers and subtropical bushes.
Upon entering the villa you are exposed to an array of lovely pastel colors and floral prints. The living room has a large comfy L-shaped sofa with a large floral print and two large cushioned sitting chairs. A glass and wood coffee table is in the middle of the room and matches the armoire with a 42" HD TV, VCR, DVD and side table with a CD-Tape-Radio stereo system. A wall of windows looks out into the backyard view with a patio with a glass table and four chairs for outside dining and relaxation.
The dining room table is round glass with a wooden base and has four matching wooden chairs with seat cushions with a floral print. The kitchen with light cream colored wooden cabinets is fully equipped with lots of counter space and two bar stools at a bar area. The whole villa is delightfully decorated with paintings of the Low Country, marsh scenes, and images of the fauna of this beautiful area such as, Egrets, Dolphins, Bird houses decorated with beach shells, a lighthouse key holder and a silver shell shaped candy dish.
The first bedroom is located downstairs and has a king bed with a lovely shell and dolphin-imaged bedspread. The wooden headboard matches the dresser, two end tables, a sitting chair and a mirror mounted on the wall. The bathroom has a combination shower-tub, plenty of counter space and a creative dolphin sculpture.
A beautiful multi-colored oil on canvas painting of three sailboats on the water is hung in the stairs hallway, as well as a sewn print of various American lighthouses. The second bedroom is upstairs and has a king bed with shell-decorated bedspread. The wooden headboard also matches the dresser, two end tables, sitting chair and mirror mounted on the wall. A ceramic painted fish tray sits on one of the nightstands keeping with the beach theme of the whole villa.
A loft, located directly at the top of the stairs has two twin beds with pastel colored bedspread that have various shell images. A ceramic lamp in the shape of a turtle sits on a long wooden dresser. A bathroom with access through the bedroom and hall loft room is located between the two rooms. There is a combination shower tub and the bathroom boasts images of the beach with a shell shaped toothbrush holder, two mats with shell images and a dolphin ceramic sculpture.
Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a FREE door-to-door shuttle to the beach, Shelter Cove Marina, Shops and Restaurants. This shuttle will run from March 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
